Baby Factory 2 (news review)

THE MEN OF THE LAGOS STATE POLICE HAVE TAKEN seven additional pregnant victims of another Lagos baby factory into custody, a week after rescuing twenty three pregnant victims of same ill fate. The victims, who among was an underage girl of 13 years old, were found loitering Cele Bus stop, along the Oshodi Apapa Expressway, after escaping from captivity of the baby factory. They were found unkempt, tired and stranded in the area.

Investigation revealed that victims had originally come from Imo, Abia and Rivers states. Their captors had deceived them, promising them employment and better livelihood in Lagos. The 13 years old among them divulged to the police that she was raped while she was in her village and had become pregnant. While she was living through her confusion and plight, she was approached by some people who had promised to cater for her and her unborn baby in Lagos, ignorant that the plan was to take her baby from her and sell.
Once they found out the true intention of their captors, they decided to escape once the opportunity presented itself, now they had done it successfully.
