Paedophile Pastor and the Minors. (News Review)
PAEDOPHILE PASTOR, CHUKWUMA NKWOCHA OF THE OVERSEER OF TONGUE OF FIRE MINISTRY, SHOGUNLE, LAGOS IS STILL LANGUISHING IN JAIL UNTIL JUSTICE IS SERVED.
He was arrested by a team of the Nigerian Police, for turning minors into sex objects in the named church. The victims were from families struggling to make ends meet, or worse still, having accommodation problems, and finding themselves at the mercy of the church for aid.
The police was believed to have got an anonymous tip about the pastor's statutory raping of the minors, and had swiftly moved to rescue a total number of twenty nine of them from the bondage.
Investigation revealed that Pastor Nkwocha had been having illicit sex with these girls of ages thirteen to seventeen, who were being sheltered in the church's residential flats.
A thirteen years old victim, Chinecherem, who was among the rescued victims, divulged to the investigators that the pastor had had sex with her several times, and also revealed that he would go on to have sex with other girls in turns after her. According to another rescued girl, Millicent Chukwuma, another thirteen years old, and a JSS3 student ,the pastor had never had sex with her, but on a countless times, he had fondled her breasts, adding that he would always do it rudely without a word. Then, he would walk away, hence, she said she used to feel terrible afterwards, but then, she would pray to God for forgiveness as it was the only thing she could do as she could not report a man of God.
Another girl, sixteen years old Kingdom was believed to have been impregnated on an occasion by the pervert pastor, but then, the pregnancy was aborted. In a part confession by the pastor, he'd admitted to having sex with only Kingdom, and said that he had an intention of marrying the sixteen years old minor. However, he denied that he had got her pregnant at any point.Instead, he pointed an accusing finger on one of his subordinate pastors, Steven, claiming that it was he, who had impregnated another minor from the church, named Onosaoluwa.
He claimed that he was planning on reporting the matter to the Church Commitee on the coming Sunday before his arrest, but unfortunately for him, Asst. Pastor Steven and Onosaoluwa had acted fast by conniving to set him up and wrongly reporting him to the police.
However, the pastor pleaded for a second chance to correct his wrongs. In his words, he said:
"...if God gives me another chance,I will make amends. I know that God is a merciful God. Is there anyone among us here who will say that he hasn't erred? Such person is a liar because the Bible says no man can say that he hasn't sinned"
